The Louisiana Cancer Foundation was founded in 1999

... by the Northeast Louisiana Cancer Institute and obtained its 501 (c) (3) status in early 2000. The purpose of the LCF is to increase public awareness, early detection, treatment and research for cancer throughout Northeast Louisiana. Services of the LCF are maintained through grants, fundraisers and private and corporate contributions.

The screening will consist of a PSA blood test and exam by a urologist.
This screening is for every man over 40 years of age
who is not seen annually by his own physician.
