With our many unique ways to serve, The Northeast Louisiana Cancer Institute is here to help.
A cancer diagnosis often means an increase in the emotional, physical, and financial stress on a person. The Northeast Louisiana Cancer Institute has a Patient Navigator program available to any cancer patient in our area. The Patient Navigator, Sabrina Cole, LCSW, is available to assist cancer patient and their families throughout diagnosis, treatment, and into survivorship.
Services include, but are not limited to:
- Coping with the cancer diagnosis and treatment
- Medication assistance
- Transportation assistance
- Lodging during treatment
- Referrals to community resources
- Referrals to wig and prosthesis specialist
- Information and assistance with living wills
