The Louisiana Cancer Foundation was founded in 1999

... by the Northeast Louisiana Cancer Institute and obtained its 501 (c) (3) status in early 2000. The purpose of the LCF is to increase public awareness, early detection, treatment and research for cancer throughout Northeast Louisiana. Services of the LCF are maintained through grants, fundraisers and private and corporate contributions.

Paddle For The Battle Against Cancer

Ladies of The Lake

Tammy Gunter, Susan Thompkins, Bobbi Hoag and Susie Freeman present a check to the Louisiana Cancer Foundation to assist cancer patients in Jackson Parish. The Ladies of The Lake raised over nine thousand dollars from their “Paddle for the Battle” fundraiser held on Caney Lake.
