Monroe Fire Department Raises $1,400 For "No Shave November"
MFD presents cash collected to James Adams, Executive Director of the Louisiana Cancer Foundation and the Northeast LA Cancer Institute
The Monroe Fire Department represented by Chief Terry Williams and Investigator ShaBrodrick Jones along with a host of MFD professionals present cash collected for their “No Shave November” to James Adams, Executive Director of the Louisiana Cancer Foundation and the Northeast LA Cancer Institute.
A total of 68 members of the MFD raised $1,400 for “No Shave November”. The female members of the force also participated by wearing a non-uniform shirt during the month. The money raised will go to offset expenses for the foundation’s annual prostate cancer screening held each September.
