The Louisiana Cancer Foundation was founded in 1999

... by the Northeast Louisiana Cancer Institute and obtained its 501 (c) (3) status in early 2000. The purpose of the LCF is to increase public awareness, early detection, treatment and research for cancer throughout Northeast Louisiana. Services of the LCF are maintained through grants, fundraisers and private and corporate contributions.

The Louisiana Cancer Foundation was recognized at the Monroe Chamber of Commerce T.H. Scott Awards, highlighting its community impact and Spirit of Hope recognition.

We’re honored to celebrate some incredible recognition from the Monroe Chamber of Commerce!

The Northeast Louisiana Cancer Institute was nominated for the T.H. Smith Award of Excellence in the Medium Business category and proudly received the Spirit of Hope Award.

We’re also proud to share that the Louisiana Cancer Foundation was nominated for the Non-Profit Award.
