About LCF
Louisiana Cancer Foundation hosts public cancer screenings, supports organizations and scholarships, and hosts fundraising events to support cancer patients in Northeast Louisiana.
The Louisiana Cancer Foundation was founded in 1999 by the Northeast Louisiana Cancer Institute and obtained its 501 (c) (3) status in early 2000. The purpose of the LCF is to increase public awareness, early detection, treatment and research for cancer throughout Northeast Louisiana. Services of the LCF are maintained through grants, fundraisers and private and corporate contributions.
Our Mission
The mission of the Louisiana Cancer Foundation is to promote quality-of-life for cancer patients and family members while also providing the citizens of Louisiana with accurate and up to date information on prevention, detection and treatment of cancer.

Our Fundrraisers & Events
Our fundraisers and events help The Louisiana Cancer Foundation provide practical support for cancer patients, hold free public cancer screenings, and fund cancer research and education in northeeast Louisiana. Our yearly events include Cancer Foundation League Gala, Cancer Foundation League Fashion Fusion, Cancer Foundation League Theresa Marsala Golf Tournament, MAD Dash, and Cancer Survivor’s Breakfast.
