There are many ways to make a meaningful impact in the lives of local cancer patients. Whether you are a cancer survivor looking to support others on a familiar path, honoring a loved one who inspired you, or simply passionate about caring for people when they need it most, volunteering with the Louisiana Cancer Foundation is a deeply rewarding experience.

The Cancer Foundation League is the official fundraising arm of the Louisiana Cancer Foundation, dedicated to sustaining our vital programs and patient services. Through dynamic community events, galas, tournaments, and fundraisers held throughout the year, the CFL raises the essential funds that keep our mission moving forward. Because our event calendar is always active, we are constantly seeking volunteers with a wide variety of skills, talents, and backgrounds to help bring these events to life.

Our annual 5K and Fun Run brings together athletes, survivors, patients, and families across Northeast Louisiana to rally behind one another. True to its name, the M.A.D. (Making A Difference) Dash relies on volunteers like you to succeed. This event—the region’s largest 5K run—features a survivor’s breakfast, a dedicated pet area, and local vendors. We have a wide range of volunteer roles available on race day to ensure everything runs smoothly.
